Wednesday, December 6, 2023 was an unforgettable, and historic, evening for Jefferson. More than 1,000 members of our amazing Jefferson family—our friends, benefactors, leadership and partners—joined us for the 21st Annual Jefferson Gala. The event put a ribbon on a terrific year, and also set the stage for Jefferson’s bicentennial celebration, which will begin in full force in 2024.

We are excited to report that the Gala has raised more than $1.5 million to fuel Jefferson’s mission to improve lives. Emceed by Philadelphia news anchor Ukee Washington, the event paid tribute to exceptional honorees—Achievement Award in Medicine awardee Dr. Vijay M. Rao; Award of Merit awardees Ann and John P. Silvestri; and Faegre Drinker Healthcare Hero awardee Dr. Cindy Hou. All are true inspirations through their service, leadership and generosity.
